Two mountains were born next to each other. One rose slowly over the millennia, one sprung quickly with fire and ash and they have loved each other ever since the smoke cleared. There’s a pass between them, well known to travelers for its mild winds and beautiful views. Many who walk on it doubt the story of the mountains since how can two beings love each other for so long without ever touching? And the mountains look down in pity at the mortals who can only touch their lovers with their bodies.
